by Robert Harden

Insanity is a 60 day Total Body Conditioning Program

Insanity. Are you ready to dig deep with Shaun T’s new 60 day total body conditioning program?

Then you might just complete the hardest workout program ever put on DVD. Your personal trainer Shaun T will push you past your limits with 10 workout discs packed with plyometric drills on top of nonstop intervals of strength, power, resistance, and ab/core training moves. Each workout keeps you constantly challenged as you alternate between aerobic and anaerobic intervals performed at your MAX. The results: burn up to 1,000 calories an hour and get the most insane body in only 60 days.

Does anyone have a link for the Elite Nutrition Plan?

None that I know of. Where did you get the program, it should have come with a nutrition manual.

Hello, I am on day 3 of month 1 of insanity and love it!! I’m keeping up very well, and todays workout was my favorite so far. I am not trying to lose weight, just the belly I gained over my six pack I had before marriage and a baby. I’m 145lbs and have a wrestlers body, I wrestled for about 20 years and have not stepped in a wrestling room for 3 years now. Basically, I would like my abs back and tone up the rest of my body also. It’s tough judging how much or how little I should eat to maintain the same weight. I am eating clean, but any suggestions?

Jimmy, If you are wanting to lose the belly fat that is covering your abs, you’re gonna have to lose some weight too. You want to shed that layer of fat covering your abs. I would try reducing your calories just enough to lose about 1-2 lbs per week. I wouldn’t try to drop the weight too fast. Eat clean, stay consistent, and reduce your calories enough to lose weight, and you’ll start seeing your 6 pack again.

Hello! I started Insanity last Friday and i love it! it totally kicks my butt!
now before this i have been doing 1hr of x trainer in the AM then weights and more cardio after work. Since starting Insanity, i have dropped the morning cardio to do Insanity and kept the other sessions. Is this too much?
I actually enjoy spending this much time working out, so that’s not a problem, i just don’t want to over train (or under eat)
thanks

Mercia, Only you will be able to determine both things you speak of….. over training and under eating. Personally, I think Insanity by itself, following the elite nutrition guide is the best bet. No confusion, workouts are scheduled for you and the diet is spot on. But if you enjoy working out then I would watch for signs of overtraining. I would also adjust my calories to make sure I am not working my body like crazy and then not eating enough to repair and recover from the workouts.

Thanks for your reply
I think i need to re-evaluate some of my sessions to get the best out of them! Never have I sweated as much as i do during Insanity (love it).
Think i will see how i go and cut back on some of my other gym cardio (mainly due the fact my body is dead after Insanity)
thanks again!

Mercia, I know what you mean. I always gave Insanity all I had to give, 110%, then let my body recover. Especially because the next day is right back at the 100%. Keep me posted!
