Healthy Recipes

Need some new healthy recipe ideas? By popular demand, our recipe database has been established. We hope that you will find the recipes to be useful, and tasty! Recipes found here are submitted by Extremely-Fit and our users. We hope that you will share your favorite recipes. We only ask two things:

1. We are looking for healthy recipes. 🙂 But wait! We have a Dessert Section. We have to live a little, just make them as healthy as possible!

2. If possible, please be as detailed as possible. At very least, in the comments, try to provide the amount of calories per serving. If you know the amount of carbs/protein/fat, throw that in too.

New recipes will be added daily. Please be patient as we add recipes. We will gladly accept user submissions! Thank you!

Please note: Some of the recipes provided here are not specifically part of any exercise program, such as P90X, Insanity, Chalean Extreme, Turbo Fire etc. Although we make every effort to provide and approve only healthy recipes, some of them, may not be suitable for your specific program. If you are following a Beachbody program, and a nutritional guide is provided, we strongly suggest that manual be your first and most important resource for recipes and nutritional information.

    Sheeraz, The best way to put on weight is to determine your maintenance calories. This is the level you should be at to NOT lose weight, BUT not GAIN weight either. Then add in about 300-500 calories to that number. Aim to add about 1 lb of lean muscle a week, to gain slow enough where you don’t put on a lot of excess fat. You will still want to eat clean. As far as what to eat, get on this custom meal plan. It’s fantastic!

    can anyone tell me when using pasta or rice, do you measure the amount dry or after you have cooked it?

    Peggy, If its a specific recipe, it should state cooked or uncooked. If not, I always use the dry weight as a measurement. That way I know exactly how many calories I’m getting.
