I herniated my disk almost 3 years ago and hadnít really done cardio within that time. I started Insanity in October. Iím now 1/2 way through my second round. I do the regular scheduled DVDs and added weight training 3 days a week. I do the cardio before work and lift after work. I modify the big jumping moves (power jumps, diamond jumps etc) with squats or cross jacks. I like that Insanity doesnít require extra equipment. I did not initially purchase the Les Mills upgraded packet and wish I had. After doing the program for about 8 weeks I really wanted more. I purchased these 3 cardio workouts and love them. I don't have the step so I can't do that workout, the combat and sports attack are excellent!
Pros: Easy to follow, no complicated moves, great cardio workouts. Also will make your muscles sore too (bonus!)
Cons: I wish the full upgrade packet was a little less expensive. This program is so great, but the cost is tough. I'm currently saving for my step.
