Optimize Your 90 Day WorkoutMany fitness companies organize their workout programs into segments of 90 days. Even bodybuilders and other fitness competitors begin training 90 days before a competition. That’s because those who correctly follow a fitness and nutrition program will see marked improvement in their physiques within that period of time. After 90 days, users will also have made permanent, healthy changes to their lifestyles. If you’re following a 90 day workout program, here are some things you can do to optimize your results.

1.  One of the major ways to get the most from your 90-day workout is to have proper nutrition. Nutrition plans are actually provided with many 90-day workout programs, such as Turbo Fire, Insanity, and P90X.

If your particular program doesn’t come with a nutrition plan, follow these basics for eating healthy. 1) Eat lots of lean protein to support muscle development. 2) Eat whole-grain carbohydrates rather than refined or enriched carbs. 3) Avoid saturated fats, and limit your fat intake altogether. Meanwhile, add foods rich in Omega-3 fats to your diet or take a supplement, such as Core Omega-3. 4) Finally, drink lots of water in order to stay hydrated and to flush toxins from your system. If you follow these four basics of a healthy diet while completing your 90-day workout, you’ll be amazed at the results.

2. Taking dietary supplements will also help you make the most of your 90-day workout program. Dietary supplements such as the slimming formulas and herbal immunity boosters available through Beachbody (the only supplements I trust), will not only help you stay healthy, but they will also keep your energy high and help you burn fat. Protein bars as well as meal replacement shakes and/or Shakeology will also ensure that you’re getting the vitamins and minerals you need to help you recover from your challenging workout program and avoid illness or injury.

3. Staying committed to the workout program for 90 consecutive days is another way to optimize your results. After the 90 days is over, you’ll have developed healthy habits. You’ll have the knowledge you need to pursue a fit and healthy lifestyle. If you need to lose more weight, you’ll know just what to do to meet your goal. If you want to raise your level of fitness, you’ll have the tools you need to become stronger, more energetic, and more agile.

4.  Be accountable. Ask your spouse, family, or friends to help you stick to the program, and offer you encouragement and support.  Better yet, have someone work out with you!  You can also check out our free fitness tools, for added accountability and support.  I know from first hand experience what it’s like to want to lose weight, but not necessarily know how.  Now I do!
