Now that I have had a chance to try Insanity MAX:30 personally, I wanted to share my thoughts and give you my Insanity MAX:30 Review.
Insanity MAX:30 is Shaun T’s latest and greatest 60 day workout program. If you’ve done Insanity, think Insanity in a 30 minute package. If you’ve done T25, think more intense than the cardio workouts in that program. Add to that a “MAX out” principle and you’ve got MAX:30. MAXing Out basically means you start the program going has hard as you can go with great form until you can go no more. That’s your MAX out. Then you take a break, and get back into the workout for the duration. The idea is to improve your MAX out time each week.
The program has no equipment, and is body weight only. Don’t think that makes it easy either.
So after one week, what are my thoughts? WOW. That’s my first thought. I’m in pretty good shape, but this still pushes my upper limit. You can thank the MAX out principle for this. Because its individually based, you may MAX out in 5 minutes or maybe 10. Maybe further. There are no limits as you are your own competition.
Is Insanity MAX:30 for beginners? I think beginners can certainly start this program, not sure I would recommend it. I would recommend something like P90 or 21 Day Fix for beginner. But a beginner can do MAX:30, its possible. I learned a long time ago to not put limits on a persons determination. But make no mistake, you will have to modify, take breaks, and push your self and be DETERMINED. But anyone can do it. It has an on screen modifier at all times. This is a first for Beachbody. If you select this option, you can see the modification 100% of the time.
That being said, beginners, intermediate, or advanced… come one, come all! Shaun T is inviting you to MAX Out!
After one week, I’m loving the program. It’s an intense workout, it’s challenging to your mind and body. It’s 30 minutes a day, with 2 days off. If you like you can also do the optional recovery workout called Pulse on one of those off days.
The program comes with a pretty cool diet, based on portion control. It’s something you can carry on with you even after the program is over.
FINAL THOUGHTS and WRAP UP for my Insanity MAX:30 Review
If you like Shaun T, if you’re a fan of Insanity, Asylum, Focus T25, you’d like this program, in my opinion. If you are looking to improve your athletic performance, such as: running, biking, sports, etc… then you’d love this program too. If you want to have that lean, athletic build that can be developed using body weight exercises with no equipment, MAX:30 is for you. If you need a program you can do anywhere. YES, MAX:30 is for you. If you’ve been on the fence, it might just be time to MAX OUT!
